I have MANY questions about my upcoming UBAC, large baby

I am 35 weeks with my son, and he has been consistently measuring 2 weeks large. My daughter was born 14 months ago via c-section at 39 weeks, and was 9lbs 5oz. (Not an emergency section, just the doctor playing boss and me being uneducated) I am planning a UC, and I have so many questions! I have read that you are more likely to rupture your

The loss of affection

I love my wife, and she loves me.  We are as solid as any two partners can be.  However, over the years the affection has slowly dissipated.   I try to understand and accept the hormonal changes a woman goes though in life.  In addition, I am pleased that my wife give so much love and energy to our child.  I also understand that after caring for ou

Possibly looking to move to Nevada (Las Vegas) Is it really as bad as I have heard?

My grandparents have lived in Las Vegas for 10+ years and love it. But they own a gun due to someone breaking into their home. I have read things and looked at the crime index and it doesn't look too safe. My husband is looking for a new job and my grandparents really want us over there. Any Las Vegas mamas that can give me suggestions? Nicer

“MY kids will NEVER behave like that!”

“MY kids will NEVER behave like that!”

I think it’s likely we all said that before we had kids. We’d toss a rude look over our shoulder because of a baby that won’t stop crying, or roll our eyes at the child in the grocery store melting down because Mommy said “no” to a candy bar request.

Stressed about Nursing Strike

I know there are 800 threads on nursing strikes and links to Kellymom on what to do.  The problem is, my baby (B) doesn't like to feed when tired, right before bed, when sleeping, etc.  Basically, B nurses when B wants to nurse, which isn't frequently.  My baby is already small and I fear the lack of nursing is not helping matters.  I don't know wh
